Deokjin Park

덕진공원

Deokjin, Jeonju · 전주

A large park north of the centre built around a lake that fills completely with lotus in midsummer, crossed by a wooden suspension bridge and a pavilion.

Why it’s worth it

In July the water is invisible — leaves the size of dinner plates from bank to bank. Go early; the flowers close by mid-morning.
